Our mission is to provide a positive and safe environment that inspires students to become responsible, well-rounded, civic-minded, global thinkers who are equipped with 21st century skills and are prepared for the academic rigors of high school and future challenges.
Mrs. Callahan RSS

SCIENTIFICALLY . . . ALL THINGS ARE RELATIVE

PRIORITIZE
PUT IMPORTANT
THINGS FIRST

EVERYTHING YOU DO IS A CHOICE AND HAS CONSEQUENCES

THE TYPE OF CONSEQUENCES YOU RECEIVE ARE UP TO YOU

YOU WILL GET OUT OF LIFE WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT

KNOWLEGE IS POWER

LOVE LEARNING . . . ASK QUESTIONS . . . EXPLORE
THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING OUT THERE YOU DO NOT KNOW
TRUE FOR TEACHERS TOO . . . I TRY TO LEARN SOMETHING NEW EVERYDAY

Here's my e-mail if you need it

YOUR GRADES ARE NOT TOP SECRET
YOU SHOULD KNOW HOW YOU ARE DOING
IN SCIENCE CLASS AT ALL TIMES

VISIT POWERSCHOOL AND MONITOR YOUR PROGRESS
IN ALL OF YOUR CLASSES

Homework and Lab Reports WILL be accepted
ONE DAY LATE (with PENALTY)
Following this grace period a score of ZERO will be posted.

Are you JUST an Eighth Grader . . .
or an agent of change with the world in your hands?

World in OUR hands . . .

I'm guessing that you are NOT just an Eighth Grader.

TOGETHER we CAN accomplish MORE

MY “LIVING LIFE” AND TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

To borrow Newton’s Third Law of Motion . . .

For every ACTION there is an EQUAL and OPPOSITE REACTION

In other words – you will get out of LIFE exactly what you put into it.
This is true for EVERYTHING YOU DO.
Science Class is no exception to this rule.

Let me also state for the record:  I do not GIVE anyone grades.
Grades have to be earned (See Newton’s Third Law of Motion above).
Honestly . . . it’s not too hard, simply do what I ask when I ask you to do it . . . PROBLEM SOLVED!
